The JDIH Mobile application is provided to facilitate public access to local legal documentation and information in an accurate, accessible, and transparent manner, which includes:
- Sumedang Regency DPRD Regulations (Peraturan DPRD)
- Sumedang Regency DPRD Decrees (Keputusan DPRD)
- Sumedang Regency DPRD Leadership Decrees (Keputusan Pimpinan DPRD)
- Legal Monographs (Academic Drafts, Legal Books, Plenary Meeting Minutes)
- Official news and activity publications of the Sumedang Regency DPRD Secretariat
2 Data Collection and Usage
The application strictly adheres to the principle of data minimization:

We do not request, collect, or store your name, email address, phone number, national identity number (NIK), residential address, biometric information, or financial details.
User Geolocation
We do not access your device's satellite location (GPS) or motion sensors.
Local Device Storage
- Bookmarked Documents: Stored privately on your device's local storage for convenient offline access. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
- Search History: Kept locally on your device and can be cleared at any time.
- Theme Settings: Your preference for dark or light theme is stored locally on your device.
3 Device Permissions
The application requests only the following standard Android permissions:
android.permission.INTERNET
Required to interact with public APIs, download, and render official legal PDF documents and news images from the official server at jdih-dprd.sumedangkab.go.id.
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Used to detect active internet connectivity, display an offline banner when disconnected, and automatically refresh the content once the network connection is restored.
4 Third-Party Services and Libraries
This application is completely ad-free and does not incorporate any third-party tracking or advertising SDKs (such as Google AdMob or Facebook Pixel). The only third-party components included are trusted open-source user interface libraries:
- Syncfusion Flutter PDF Viewer: User interface component used to display official legal PDF documents natively inside the application.
- Cached Network Image: Image caching utility to minimize data consumption and improve rendering performance.
- Share Plus: Uses the native Android system share dialog when the user elects to share a public link to a legal document.
5 Data Security
All communications between the mobile application and our servers are encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS (SSL/TLS) protocols to safeguard data from interception across public networks.
6 Children's Privacy
Our services are family-friendly and safe for users of all age groups. We do not knowingly collect any personal identifiable information from children under 13 years of age, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families policy.
7 User Rights and Controls
Users have complete sovereignty over any local application data on their device. You may clear your bookmarks and search queries at any time through the in-app features or via standard Android system settings (Clear Data / Clear Cache).

This application is officially developed and administered by the Secretariat of the Sumedang Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) as an integrated constituent of the National Legal Documentation and Information Network (JDIHN).
